News from the Town Office
Town office will be closed on August 5, 2024. We hope everyone has a safe and
enjoyable holiday from work!
Yard Maintenance — Council has spent some time touring our newly paved streets and
have noticed some unkempt yards. Letters for clean-up will be mailed out. If you do
receive one, please ensure prompt attention to the requested clean-up.
Pets — Ensure the security of your yard by just walking around and checking on fences.
Some fences are falling into a state of disrepair making it easier for dogs to escape. Please
do all that you can to help keep your pets in your yards. If you have a concern, Bylaw
Enforcement is in town monthly to deal with any written complaints or concerns that are
received in the Town Office.
Wipes in the Pipes — are not good for our sanitary sewer system, even if they do say
flushable. They do not dissolve enough before getting to our pumps. To prevent backups in
your home, or the town pumps, please toss them into the trash.
Building Information — If you are altering your home or garage, there may be permits
required. Please ensure that you get your permit in advance of starting your project.
